Yashu Kapila Got Nominated for TechWomen100 Awards

Chandigarh, India – When it’s almost two years, the COVID-19 pandemic has hit the business industry, We Are Tech Women, a leading brand known for recognizing women in technology from Essex, England, is putting every possible effort to maximize the potential of women in the corporate sector.   

At first, it was the launch of TechWomen50 in 2017, and now it is 100 women in tech in 2021 as the organization is looking forward to highlighting 1000 female future tech leaders by 2030. Since Yashu Kapila, CEO BugRaptors has put her extreme efforts into the world of software testing and QA, her efforts have been constantly recognized by various global brands while making her stand as the top 10 women of the year at IT Awards Asia Series. And therefore, it is of extreme pleasure for BugRaptors to announce her Nomination into the list of TechWomen100 Awards.   

On this, Yashu Kapila said, “While 2020 has proven to be a year of extreme downtime due to COVID, I feel this initiative by We Are Tech Women is one of a kind. I wonder how important it was to highlight the stories of our women in the corporate sector. I feel extremely happy and gratified to be a part of such an amazing initiative.”  

Established in 2015, WeAreTechWomen has worked for so many women to enhance their skills and careers. Besides, the organization has worked with more than 40 multi-sector organizations to attract and retain female talent for their tech operations.  

Moreover, WeAreTechWomen has been recognized for providing opportunities to more than 3000 women through several conferences and events. On top of that, the organization has even highlighted 150 future tech leaders via TechWomen100 awards. At present, WeAreTechWomen has a membership of 15000+ female members who have helped to upskill the tech disciplines for different industries.   

Coming back to the nominations for 100 women in tech in 2021, each award recipient would be selected for their impact on the tech sector, global economy, and their very own community contributions. Since the tech industry is lacking in female representation at all levels, the percentage stands at only 17 percent.  However, corporate leaders like Yashu Kapila have come a long way in uplifting women in the corporate sector while making the women count stand as high as 70 percent within the organization and the management.  

Nevertheless, the awards and conferences are the only way influential as well as senior women could be highlighted, and TechWomen100 is one such amazing platform to give a boost of exposure to all the women working in the tech industry. The nominations have started on August 2, 2021, while the closing date for the nominations has been decided as of September 10, 2021.   

The shortlisted names will be announced on October 25, 2021, while the voting will close on November 5, 2021, making way for the announcement of winners on November 15, 2021.
