Yashu Kapila Shortlisted For Woman of the Year Award at WIT Awards Asia Series 2022

Recognizing the achievements of women in technology, DiversityQ, in collaboration with the Information Age, came up with the women in IT awards 2022. The award is to commemorate a woman in IT who has demonstrated the highest degree of innovation, leadership, and excellence over the last two years and has achieved milestones in the IT sector.  

The management of DiversityQ announced the list of top 10 international personalities who got shortlisted for the "woman of the year" awards list. Yashu Kapila, the CEO and lady stalwart behind BugRaptors, was listed in the Woman of the year award list. She has not only added yet another milestone in her entrepreneurial journey but also has set the highest benchmarks for women who lead and believe in winning.   

Over the years, Yashu Kapila has excellently served various roles and responsibilities to outshine and bring  BugRaptors to a place where it has expanded to be an organization helping women, the community, and technology.   

Further adding to this, Yashu Kapila, along with nine other international leaders from diverse geographical locations and brands like Amazon web services, Pearson, and Here technologies, got shortlisted for the Woman of the Year award.  

Delighted by this, Yashu Kapila said, "I am thrilled and honoured to get into the Woman of the year award list. It is all about highlighting the entrepreneurship and technological achievements of women, and I truly believe that it is our wish to evolve for the change that takes us to a position of greater reach and influence," said Yashu Kapila.

Being shortlisted for this award category would help BugRaptors unearth the new dimensions of technological strategies, innovations, and partnerships while also diminishing gender and racial discrimination. I am glad that the technology today has made the world unite in most of the ways and has shown us new ways to leverage economic and business benefits associated with the technology sector," she added. 

For the past 17 years, Yashu Kapila has not just helped the IT executives but has also aimed at constantly learning the Quality Assurance and Testing procedures to foster digital transformations. She has emerged as a women leader who not only demonstrated consistency in IT excellence but also practised innovation and leadership while showcasing what extraordinary things women in IT can achieve. She has expertise in exceptional business skills and technology-based achievements.   

The Women in IT Summit & Awards series are presented by diversity in association with Information Age. It believes in supporting the IT industry in its mission to move the dial on diversity & inclusion of all. In this way, it provides a global platform to showcase advocates, role models, and allies alongside industry champions to share knowledge, break digital boundaries, and promote the importance of an inclusive tech sector.
